Q:  How old does my child have to be to play softball?

A:  Players may register for 6U if they are 4 years old by Dec 31 of the PREVIOUS year (for spring ball) or WILL be 4 years old by December 31 of the CURRENT year (for fall ball).

Q:  What equipment is required to play?

A:  All players are required to have their own glove, batting helmet, and fielder's mask.  Batting helmets must have attached face masks.  Chin straps are STRONGLY recommended.  Fielder's masks are REQUIRED for all players age 14 or younger playing at 14U or lower.  Only HSE has the option to not wear fielder's mask, at player's discretion.  Cleats are recommended but not required.  All other equipment is discretional.
