SRYA Board Scholarship Winner Announced!

The South River Youth Athletics Board of Directors have announced the 2025 scholarship winners.  The SRYA BOD provides four scholarships annually to high school seniors that have competed in SRYA athletics as a youth and have applied with a transcript and teacher/counsellor recommendation.  The winners are as follows:

Female –

$3000 – First place scholarship goes to Mackenzie Madeline Mulvihill, a senior at SRHS who competed in soccer, lacrosse, and basketball in SRYA and plans to attend the University of Georgia

$2000 – Second place scholarship is awarded to Ella Kate Lovelace, a SRHS senior who played SRYA field hockey and plans to attend the University of Maryland.

Male –

$3000 – First place scholarship winner is Finnegan Joseph Mulvihill, a senior at SRHS who played SRYA football, basketball, baseball, and soccer and plans to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

$2000 – Second place scholarship goes to Benjamin Adams, a SRHS senior who competed in football, basketball, and lacrosse with SRYA and plans to attend Salisbury University.
